Module 1 Overview
In this module, you will explore how the educational landscape across the globe, particularly in higher education, is dealing with the the incorporation of accessible strategies for online learning. This course is developed around the Cybersecurity Instructional Design Checklist. This checklist places a high priority around creating an accessible online course. There are two methods of providing students access to materials that require assistive technologies. The first method is accessibility. Accessibility is the proactive method making web content accessible to learners that require assistive technology. Accommodations are a remedy, occurring after a learner has been identified as needing accessible technologies. Your course program and KSU urge faculty to develop accessible content for online course delivery. In this module, and the modules that follow, you will develop or revise course content with accessibility in mind.
